Crandon: The Track

It’s 400 acres of rockin’ hospitality deep in the Wisconsin Northwoods. Grass, forest and a huge granite pit surround the most revered dirt track in the world. There is simply no other place like it on earth.

Friday of the Labor Day holiday in Crandon signals the start of the annual World Championships Off-Road Races® and the Red Bull Cup Challenge. Here in the “Big House” world champions are crowned as part biggest short course off-road race in the world. More than 50,000 fans gather to cheer for their favorite drivers as they race on the longest and the fastest short-course track anywhere – with speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour. See it all from the grandstand or the great hillside seating if you want to spread out.

The Crandon Raceway is also famous as a family-friendly, all off-road entertainment destination. When not watching the races visitors can check out the newly developed off-road recreation park or the 300 miles of county ATV/UTV trails that are accessible from the Crandon Raceway. Kids, both young and old, will love the state-of-the-art Traxxas Radio Control race track. With a campground, a golf driving range and a trap shoot range this is a getaway dream for those who love the outdoors.
